YWCA with Pattaya City Hall and Pattaya Team presents the “Fun Walk Run” under the patronage of HRH Princess Somsawali .

The winner of each race will win a trophy awarded by HRH Princess Somsawali

The Race will start on Beach road Soi 6, Pattaya and will have Ocean Welt and Beach Fun as themes.

Free food, drinks and T-shirts will be given to all runners. The T-shirt should be worn during the race unless you are competing in a creative funny costume.

Pattaya Players (Home of Pattaya’s Professional Amateurs) is proud to announce auditions for its spooky Halloween-themed murder mystery performance of “A Ghostly Crime.” There are parts for both male and female actors of various ages and auditions will take place at The Eastern Grand Palace Hotel on Soi Khaotalo at 6:30 pm on Monday, June 24, 2013. The performances will take place on October 11-12, 2013 (venue TBA).

A Ghostly Crime centers around a wealthy socialite who hires a wacky psychic to conduct a séance in hopes of contacting the spirit of her long departed ancestor. In the interim, a murder takes place. Did the butler do it, or was it the philandering husband? For this production, we are searching for actors with strong, audible voices who are confident with both scripted lines as well as improvisation skills. The parts available are as follows…

Mary astor-turf – rich, eccentric socialite, a bit dingy, obsessed with contacting the ghost of her great-great grandfather, Colonel Jack Astor. (163 lines)

Teddy turf-Mary’s sleazy, philandering husband. He has no moral fiber and only married Mary for her money. (127 lines)

Rachel devine – Mary’s childhood chum who is having an affair with Teddy. She epitomizes the phrase “with friends like her, who needs enemies.” (90 lines)

Jeeves – Mary’s loyal but stuffy butler, who has carried a flame for her for some time. (82 lines)

Rita rue – undercover police detective, posing as a wacky psychic. (192 lines)
