Jazz legend Tony Bennett to perform charity concert, raising funds for Princess Sirindhorn’s Foundation for Chitralada School.
The H.R.H. Princess Sirindhorn Foundation for Chitralada School with The Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand Under the Patronage of His Majesty the King, in collaboration with BEC-Tero Entertainment, are bringing Tony Bennett to Bangkok to perform a special Charity Dinner Concert “An Evening with Tony Bennett”on 15 September 2013 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Royal Ballroom. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the H.R.H. Princess Sirindhorn Foundation for Chitralada School. Chairman of the organising committee for the charity concert is former deputy prime minister Mr. Suwat Liptapanlop.
The H.R.H. Princess Sirindhorn Foundation for Chitralada School was founded on H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s initiative to support Chitralada School’s educational management and activities linked with social and community interests and development. The Princess also chairs the foundation.
Tony Bennett is a jazz legend and 17-time Grammy Award winner. He is one of the all-time most successful jazz artists beginning his career with his #1 hit, Because of You in 1951. Jazz lovers can expect to hear long-time hits such as I Left My Heart in San Francisco, Cold, Cold Heart, In the Middle of an Island, Stranger In Paradise, The Good Life, Fly Me To The Moon, Rags to Riches and The Shadow Of Your Smile amongst other evergreens in the “An Evening with Tony Bennett”.
