For the 3rd consecutive year Aspire is arranging the AYTC – Aspire Youth Training Camp, from June 30 – August 15, 2014 for youth (10-16 years old) in Bangkok.
What is the AYTC?
The Aspire Youth Training Camp 2014 (AYTC) is developed by Fitcorp Asia and takes place at the Aspire Club (Bangkok, Asok). It has been running for 3 consecutive years with great success. The AYTC is a great opportunity for children and youth in Bangkok to stay active and fit during the summer break and get stronger, faster and healthier! AYTC14 starts on Monday June 30 and runs until Friday August 15. The camp is held three days/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). You can sign up for any number of weeks during that time period; sessions are 2 hours for youth ages 10-16 years old.
Who is the AYTC for?
The Aspire Youth Training Camp is a youth fitness program for children and youth in Bangkok between the ages 10-16. No matter current fitness level, experience, strength or body size – AYTC14 is tailored to meet all needs and abilities. The 2 hour sessions (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) are supervised from the experiences youth coaches at Aspire to assure that individual modifications to activities are always offered. Using this strategy, no one is held back or pushed beyond their current level of fitness which provides a great environment for physical development for a developing child.
What do we do at the AYTC?
AYTC14 takes elements of both exercise and nutrition and packages it into a fun experience that promotes learning. There will be no such thing as sitting still in a classroom or grinding through static exercise routines – learning about nutrition and exercising can and should be fun! Activities such as Nutrition Memory, Ultimate Frisbee, parachute sprints, dodge ball, freeze tag and follow the leader are all examples of drills and activities to do at AYTC14 to improve health and fitness and most importantly; having fun!
What we believe in at the AYTC?
At AYTC we educate youth in Bangkok in movement, nutrition, health, leadership skills, team work, positive thinking, just to name a few examples. Most importantly, the youth fitness coaches at AYTC14 encourage physical activity and being active by having fun! We believe that having fun while exercising creates positive associations with being active that leads to healthy lifestyle habits in youth. Only then it becomes a natural part of life, being active, staying healthy and feeling great!
