About the speakers:
FRANCK FOUGERE is managing partner and founder of Ananda Intellectual Property, one of Thailand’s leading IP law firm and of Orbis Limited, a business consultancy based in Hong-Kong. His practice includes patent and trademark prosecution, anti-counterfeiting and complex IP litigation (notably copyright infringement) in Thailand and throughout Asia. In addition to servicing several high profile multinational corporations, Franck is a frequent speaker on cutting-edge IP issues at professional symposiums and conferences as well as a lecturer in various universities. Franck Fougere served as President of the Franco Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC) from 2010 to 2013 and is active in various IP organizations across Asia and has been an external expert of the ASEAN IPR SME Helpdesk since August 2013.
AMANDA DAVENPORT has 8 years experience in KPMG’s International Tax practice. She has spent most of her career with the KPMG London team before relocating to Bangkok in 2013. In her present role Amanda works closely with a number of multi-national groups seeking to make tax efficient investments in Thailand and many Thai and Expat owned businesses in Thailand with plans to grow beyond Thai borders. Amanda has experience working on cross-border tax projects across Asia, Europe, Africa and the America’s, both from a UK and Thai perspective. Amanda has a UK law degree and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor (member of ICAS and CIOT).
PAUL KELLEHER is the Project Manager of the EU-funded ASEAN IPR SME Helpdesk. The Helpdesk provides free “first-line” advice, information and training for EU SMEs related to the management, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in South East Asia. Paul manages the Jakarta-based team, and is responsible for visibility and outreach in ASEAN, while his team is responsible for managing a network of IP experts, providing trainings for European SMEs and handling confidential enquiries from EU SMEs and business organisations.
