Laguna Golf Phuket hosted Phuket’s very first hospitality charity golf tournament – The Phuket Hospitality Challenge 2016. Partnering with ASEAN-EVENTS, the Laguna Phuket resort hotels, spa and golf course came together to welcome over 60 golfers comprising hospitality professionals for a day of fun-filled speed golf, gourmet golf and gala celebrations at Xana Beach Club of Angsana Laguna Phuket.

The success of the Phuket second event – Phuket Hospitality Challenge 2017 has led to the partnership with FORE Management Group and ASEAN-EVENTS to team up and bring the very first Bangkok Hospitality Challenge to the Hospitality Industry in Bangkok on 9^th November 2017.

Finding high profile Industry sponsors did not prove difficult for Chris Watson of FORE Management who set about the task in July this year, along with Mark Cameron of ASEAN-EVENTS to secure PalVision as the title and gold sponsor. With naming rights the inaugural Bangkok event is now known as The PalVision Bangkok Hospitality Challenge 2017.

Mr. Mark Cameron of ASEAN-EVENTS, enthused, “When creating this event for the Hospitality Industry, we had three fundamental objectives. Firstly, we wanted to create a golf event whereby hospitality professionals could mingle and network together. Complementing this hospitality theme, we wanted to showcase all the highlights of what the Bangkok Hospitality Industry had to offer within one round of golf. Finally and most importantly, we aim to raise vital funds towards a needy children’s charity in Bangkok. This is probably first and foremost in the way we market the events and how we give back to the local communities in Thailand”

The Phuket Hospitality Challenge 2017 donated 200,000 Baht to the Children’s First Fund at Laguna Phuket
