The Solange Paz Mendoza Foundation is holding a Charity Event on Thursday 21st of November 2013 at Above Eleven, to raise money for the Sight4Life project. Its going to be an awesome event with a live band, fabulous food and drinks. We will also have a silent auction. Donation for ticket: 2500 Baht.

To give you a brief overview, there is a severe lack of funds at The Children’s Hospital (a government hospital) in the Ophthalmology department, which has resulted in waiting lists of over 1000 children waiting for eye tests and glasses. As such the Sight4Life project is trying to raise money to help these children get tested and get glasses to avoid worsening of their eye conditions.

The Sight4Life project is also raising money to buy a R.O.P. laser which is used to fix preventable blindness in premature babies. Their old laser has been out of commission for over a few years now and is a desperate requirement.
