Asia Fitness Convention 2012

AFC 2012 will be held in Pattaya, Thailand from October 19- 21, 2012 at the fabulous Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel. Just 1.5 hours from Suvarnabhumi airport, sea, sand, sun and fun are waiting for you, along with the best ever line-up of presenters and sessions! We have 100+ sessions for you to choose from and 20 pre- and post-convention sessions.

The pre-convention sessions are all held on October 18th and the post-convention sessions on the 19th and some on the 20th. Look them up and plan for a longer stay to the advantage of all that AFC can offer you.

Shoulder Stabilization with Fletcher Towelwork®

This session will review the energy system demands of training and actual fighting that the Mixed Martial Artists undergoes. This session will also cover how to properly feed and use nutrition strategies with the Mixed Martial Artist for optimal recovery and performance

Plyometric Training for Explosive Athletes (Workshop)

Power is the single most important factor for determining athletic success. In this session attendees will learn how to improve power production for sport through the use of plyometric training. Appropriate training progressions and modifications based on age, ability and facility design will also be discussed in this lecture/lab session

Improving Game Speed (Workshop)

In order to prepare an athlete for competition a controlled amount of chaos must be introduced into the training environment in order to prepare them for the unpredictable nature of sports. In this session attendees will learn how to incorporate reactive agility training into the training programs of athletes to help improve their speed agility and quickness.

Strength and Conditioning Games for Improved Fitness and Performance (Workshop)

Learn how to disguise work with play and make training session’s fun for a variety of clients and athletes with diverse goals.
